NBA Legend Kobe Bryant and Eight others die in a California Helicopter Crash

The retired NBA player Kobe Bryant, daughter and seven other people died in a helicopter crash in southern California on the 26th of January 2020.

Kobe Bryant was a five-time NBA champion and an 18 time All-Star who was 41 when he died. Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter Gianna was also confirmed dead on the flight as well.

Bryant played in the NBA at the age of 17. His career spanned 20 years as a shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers. He was name d a 2008 NBA Most Valuable Player and a two-time NBA Finals MVP winner. He is highly regarded as one of the greatest players of all time who has led NBA scoring for two seasons and ranks fourth on the NBA league’s all-time post season scoring lists. He will be greatly missed.

Other victims of the helicopter crash were Payton Chester, 13; Sarah Chester, 45; Alyssa Altobelli, 14; Keri Altobelli, 46; John Alltobelli, 56; Christina Mauser, 38; and the pilot, Ara Zobayan, 50.
